What’s the first thing people say when you tell them you’re an art teacher?

Something like…

“That sounds fun, but I can’t draw.” 

Whatever it is, it’s usually very telling about how misunderstood we are. I believe we must support the art teacher first to build lasting creative confidence in students. Let’s impact a generation of people who respond with something more like “Art helps me grow in so many ways!”
